In a bid to move on, I started talking to this friend a lot more, and I started taking a liking towards her. I reached a crushing realisation a few weeks in that she was already taken, and I swiftly retreated and documented my experience in this song. Fun fact-this is her favourite song of mine, and she instantly joined the dots as soon as she heard it!
